North American Metings Industry Day!  April 16, 2015

Washington, DC - MPI Wisconsin Chapter is proud to support the first-ever North American Meetings Industry Day (NAMID) that is being spearheaded by the Convention Industry Council and the Meetings Mean Business Coalition. MPI is a member of both organizations. Our Wisconsin Chapter will be holding the April meeting in Green Bay in conjunction with the NAMID. The greater meeting and event community across the United States, Canada and Mexico will spotlight the substantial value derived from business meetings, conferences, conventions, incentive travel, trade shows and exhibitions, and will engage with policymakers, industry elites and business leaders.

Annual Partnerships, Advertising and Sponsorships Open for 2015

As a Supplier, Planner, Faculty or Student member of MPI-WI, we count on your attendance and support to continue our mission of “Bringing out the Best” education and networking opportunities through the year.  You can also help MPI-Wisconsin by building our team of sponsors.
Members like you can both support your chapter directly by encouraging your contacts – especially those outside of Wisconsin – to be sponsors or provide hotel stays or other items for our Raffles and Silent Auctions.

New Electronic Membership Renewal

Starting this month, MPI International will be switching to an electronic membership renewal. Members will receive their membership renewal invoice via email and can download and print their renewal invoice if they need a printed copy. Members are encouraged to log on to MPIWEB.org/me to ensure their contact information is up to date. MPI International estimates by changing to an electronic renewal system that this will decrease MPI's annual paper consumption by 6,627 lbs!

With the change to an electronic membership renewal, membership engagement representatives (MERs) will be able to better connect with members which means you have a stronger voice in MPI and increased listening from MERs to what our members are saying. Expect periodic calls from your MER in 2014!
