MPIWI - WSAE Golf Outing

Meeting Professionals International-WI Chapter and the Wisconsin Society of Association Executives will host their third annual joint golf outing on Wednesday, June 18, 2008.  This year's team, The Kalahari Resort and Trapper’s Turn Golf Course have a fantastic day of events planned for the golfer and non-golfer.

Kalahari Resorts and Trappers Turn Golf Club are proud to announce a complete renovation of their golf clubhouse. The improvements will feature space for up to 250 guests inside the banquet facility and many more on the beautifully remodeled veranda. The lounge area will be situated to overlook peaceful Mystic Lake and the challenging par five finishing hole on the Lake course.  Their expansion will offer the opportunity to hold private functions separate from other activities, featuring the added amenities of a billiard room, business center and Wi-Fi throughout the building. Trappers Turn will continue to offer a full service dining menu along with expanded catering facilities for larger groups.

Non-Golf Event

Ever wanted to be behind the wheel of a racecar? Now is your chance! Join us for the MPI/WSAE event on June 18th at the Dells Raceway Park, home to the Midwest's greatest short track stock car racing.

Start your engines by learning the ins and outs of handling a stock car. Then slide into one of six different racing stock cars for a ride along with a professional driver around the 1/3-mile track. If you're feeling daring, take the wheel and follow the Lead Car until you're comfortable in your new ride. Before you know it, you'll be running "Hot Laps." After finishing your "Victory Lap," check out the other on-site race vehicles, the DRP Busch Car, Viper and Mustang.

Enjoy Lunch at Trappers Turn Golf Club and learn new ways and foods to cook on the grill.

Next, enjoy a ride on Dells Army Ducks. All tours are guided through Dells Glacial Park exposing you up close to one-of-a-kind rock formations. Your pilot and guide will take you on an expedition through our wilderness in WWII amphibious vehicles, called ducks. It's fun, entertaining and a must tour when visiting Wisconsin Dells! Ducks use six wheel drive while traversing through Dell Creek. Our tours are fun for the entire family and a Dells favorite! We give the best tours on the planet!

Then back to Trappers Turn Golf Club for an Unbelievable Reception!!

Outreach

The MPI-WI Chapter has a long history of community outreach and support. In response to the devastating flooding that has occurred in Wisconsin communities, our chapter will be donating all of our profits from the 3rd Annual Golf Outing to the Badger Chapter of the American Red Cross. The Badger Chapter provides emergency preparedness, prevention, and response services to nearly 550,000 residents of southern Wisconsin in Dane, Iowa, Lafayette, Richland and Sauk counties and the City of Lake Mills in Jefferson County.
