Leveraging Legal Knowledge During Contract Negotiations Legal concepts and issues associated with negotiating contracts will be presented. Negotiation experts will share, discuss and demonstrate how to better understand key legal concepts and the legal consequences if alterations and amendments are made to "standard" language. The session will focus on contract provisions relating to insurance, labor issues, confidentiality clauses, renovations, change in management or ownership, indemnity, reciprocity, damages/penalties, choice of law, and various other key provisions, as well as how to reduce the potential loss associated with signing a "risky" event contract.
