This workshop is intended to help those in attendance become more effective leaders and create work environments that are more successful, profitable, and enjoyable. This will be a highly interactive session, providing you with specific tools and techniques that will enable you to thrive as leaders in your business, community and family.

Enhance your own success by preparing and enabling those around you

About the Speaker
Theresa Breining, CMP, CMM is the founder and president of Concepts Worldwide, a meeting management firm headquartered in San Diego County since its inception in 1988. Terri has been in the meeting planning industry since 1976, and has been responsible for producing meetings around the globe.
A very active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), Terri has served at both the local and international level, including as MPI’s Chairwoman of the Board in 2003-04. Having served as the representative of the convention/meeting planning sector of the meeting industry for the APEX commission, she currently serves as chairwoman of the commission. The APEX commission is a national body working to develop and implement standards by which the meeting & event industry functions. Her other volunteer commitments include serving on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau, as well as on the Advisory Boards for other convention bureaus and a resort.

Mary's Room provides maternity clothes, newborn and infant clothing, accessories, furniture and other needed items at no charge with an extra component thrown in...loving, caring compassion. Mary's Room is staffed entirely by volunteer assistance, and stocked through the generosity of area individuals, churches and other organizations.
The Director is Peggy Nieuwenhuis, also the Mayor’s wife. She is very excited about MPI’s involvement. She asked that in addition to much needed new/gently used baby items, that any children’s books be simple, “easy to read” in English, or bi-lingual in Spanish, as many of their mothers are Spanish-speaking as their first language.
