Everything I Needed to Be Successful I Learned in a Bowling Alley

Join Roger Dalkin, a former world bowling champion and past CEO of one of the largest sports organizations in the world for a seminar that will be an interactive, fun trip to a bowling alley as you learn about personal traits and characteristic needed to be successful both in you career and your personal life.  Who among us hasn’t bowled at one time or another?  Bowling is our springboard to learning about life lessons.  As someone once said, “These traits are common sense, but not common practice.”  By relating to experiences with which we all can identify, we provide ourselves mental keys to remind us of what we should do to be successful.

Included in the seminar is a personal “bowling scorecard” to determine where you rank in the “success” game and the areas on which you need to work.  The result is a fun and entertaining afternoon where you’ll improve your chances for success and maybe even improve your bowling score.

Bio - Roger Dalkin
Roger Dalkin is a World Champion athlete, a Hall of Famer, a business owner and a highly successful association executive. Over a recent eight-year span he was voted the most influential person in the $10 billion bowling industry for four years (he ranked second the other four years).

Additionally he was recognized as the industry’s “Person of the Year” in 2004 for successfully leading one of the largest mergers in the annals of U. S. association history, involving over 2.5 million members, 50,000 volunteers, 6,000 local chapters, 250 employees, four boards with over 200 members and combined budgets of over $50 million.

Roger is known for his entertaining speaking style and his ability to breakdown complex concepts into understandable analogies and comparisons.

He draws on his extensive experience from various leadership capacities and will share the insights used over his career as he progressed to the most influential position in the $10 billion bowling industry to help your business or association improve operations, efficiencies or even consolidate.
