Douglas Hamm
Director Kohler Operating System
Douglas Hamm is the Director of the Kohler Operating System. The
Kohler Operating System encompasses all continuous improvement efforts
within the Kohler Co. including Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing.
Mr. Hamm has been in this position since July 2001. Mr. Hamm is
a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
Prior to joining Kohler Co., Mr. Hamm was Director and Plant Manager
for Vuteq Corporation. Vuteq Corporation is a Japanese based automotive
parts manufacturing company with manufacturing facilities in eleven
countries. Mr. Hamm served on the board of directors for five years
and was in plant management for an additional seven years.
Mr. Hamm has a Bachelor's Degree from Illinois Wesleyan University
in Bloomington, IL with a double-major in Business Administration
and History. He received his Masters of Business Administration
Degree from Illinois State University in Normal, IL. He resides
in Sheboygan, WI with his wife and two children.
