Exhibitors are encouraged to present door prizes that will be awarded during the 11:00 - 1:00pm time frame.
Food stations will be dispersed throughout the exhibit area and vendors will have a captive audience
from 11:00am - 1:00pm in
addition to time during
registration and breaks.

Tradeshow Rules and Regulations

Exhibit Space

Exhibits must be contained within your purchased booth space and must not block the aisles.

Sampling Guidelines

Exhibitors may exhibit only merchandise that they normally serve or produce in the ordinary course of their business and may only distribute such quantities that are reasonable with regard to the purpose of promoting the merchandise. Food service exhibitors may distribute food samples in your authorized space only. Food or bite-size samples are not to exceed 2 ounces and non-alcoholic beverages are not to exceed 3 ounces. Vendors whose primary business is food are allowed to bring sample-size food portions.

Decorations

You may choose to provide additional decorations for an event. AEC does not allow glitter or stickers of any kind. Charges will be applied for the clean up of these items if they are used. No open flame candles are allowed due to local Fire Code. Balloons are for decoration only and should be securely affixed. There is a charge to the promoter for any balloons that get loose and end up in the ceiling beams.

Hazardous Materials

Hazardous materials, flammable/combustible liquids and compressed flammable gases are prohibited inside the building.

Parking

The Alliant Energy Center has a large parking lot available to convention guests and exhibitors. Parking fees are included in the exhibitor fees.

Set Up

Set up for the tradeshow will be on Thursday, November 10, 2005 from 7:00 to 8:30 am.

Exhibitors should enter AEC through the main gate on Rimrock Road and proceed to the loading dock in the back of Exhibition Hall. Carts and will be available to assist with transportation of your booth.
