Session overview:

As defined by the Global Corporate Circle of Excellence (GCCOE), there are eight basic steps to creating a strategic meetings management program. Demonstrating your value begins with understanding these steps. This program was designed based on the GCCOE white paper and has been implemented to help secure the meeting planner’s role in the meetings industry.

As the steps are introduced during this program, you will learn where to research within your organization so you can customize your own strategic meeting management program for the betterment of your organization and your position.

After participating in this session, you will be able to:

Define and explain the eight steps needed to implement a strategic meetings management program
Compose and assess a 30-60-90 day action plan demonstrating your value within an organization
