The last official program year’s gathering of the MPI – Wisconsin
Chapter membership has always been a memorable outing prior to our
“summer break”. In keeping with the tradition, an informative and
fun team-building day has been planned for all our members ... so
be sure to mark your calendars now for Wednesday and Thursday, June
16- 17, 2004, as this is an event you don’t want to miss! The pristine
grounds of The Osthoff Resort and their crystal-clear beach will
be the setting for the event where we’ll enjoy two days of learning,
teambuilding and leadership planning for the upcoming 2004-2005
year.
MPI
Founding Chancellor Bill Boyd, CMP, CMM, CITE will be addressing
our group in the morning educational session on Industry Trends.

garnered “Chapter of the Year Award” recognition. He also served
as MPI International President in 1994. He has received numerous
MPI Awards, including being named International Supplier of the
Year in 1997. In 2002, he was named a Founding Chancellor.

Dress comfortably because after dining al fresco on the terrace
for lunch, our interactive play time begins! Steve Proudman of the
Proudman Group, Inc. will lead us in TEAMJAM. This team-learning
event is an innovation in organizational teambuilding that involves
all personality types to feel comfortable or go out on a limb. There
is nothing like TEAMJAM. It is a celebratory experience that embraces
the concepts of change, growth and learning for our entire membership.
This custom-designed experiential learning event to help build teamwork
skills in a multi-tasking environment is likened by Proudman to
the “merging of a rock concert, a circus, a theatre performance
and training seminar into one highly motivating and energizing event.”
Steve Proudman holds a master’s degree in adult and continuing
education from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. Steve, President
of the Proudman Group, Inc. brings 15 years experience as a facilitator,
coach, consultant, trainer and writer. His experience is in designing
and delivering experiential learning programs for teams and organizations.
Proudman is a faculty member of the American Management Association
and an adjunct faculty member of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
Executive MBA program. For more information on TEAMJAM and the Proudman
Group, Inc., visit www.proudmangroup.com.
The fun doesn’t end there either! Beachfront activities will be
planned into the evening with a few surprises for those staying
over at the Osthoff Resort. The following day on Thursday, June
17, 2004, will include a presentation of the vision for the upcoming
year from our President-elect, Nancy Lund and strategic group division
leads. All members interested in getting involved in our chapter
on any level of volunteerism are encouraged to participate. Learn
more about the opportunities from our new chapter structure.
