education day and meetings industry marketplace on Thursday,
October 7, 2004, in the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy
Center in Madison.
This years Meet Wisconsin will provide a unique
opportunity to hear a special presentation by invited Guest
Speaker, Lt. Governor Barbara Lawton, along with a stimulating
lineup of industry education brought to you by some of the
top Wisconsin speakers. More that 100 vendors will participate
in the Meetings Industry MarketPlace presenting the latest
in lodging, convention facilities, decorating and exposition
services.
Meet Wisconsin is presented by a number of organizations
that share the same goal of sustaining a strong meetings industry
in Wisconsin, an industry that plays an increasingly important
role in Wisconsins economy. The blending of several
events into one allows us to present a wealth of information
that is essential to doing business is todays economy.
Meeting Professionals International - Wisconsin Chapter is
combining their October education day along with the Greater
Madisons Convention & Visitors Bureaus Meetings
Industry MarketPlace. Additional partners, the National Speakers
Association - Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Association of Convention
& Visitors Bureaus and the Wisconsin Department of Tourism
have joined forces to provide services, promotion and a united
team spirit.
